 CFC Kick Off
2009 Season

What has seemed to be a long off season for most of the CFC

teams will finally come to an end May 30th when the 09 season

begins.  Last season’s undefeated regular season (8-0) Grizzlies

and Flames begin their season home and away respectively.  The

Grizzlies host the Havoc (1-7) at Englewood HS while the Flames

travel to Cheyenne, WY to face the Wranglers (0-8).  Two other

games cited as season openers see the Cobras (5-3) traveling to

Broomfield HS to play the Dawgs (2-6) and the Titans (5-3) host the

Pirates (2-6) at Shea Stadium.  Good luck to all and may you have a

Rewarding and exciting season.

House Cleaning

Before the 09 season begins, there are some house cleaning

duties each team must take notice in addressing.  These items

are spelled out in the league by laws as follows:

·        Each team must have contrasting home and away jerseys

and all team players must have the same identifying helmets.

·        It is a bylaw violation for any team to allow any player to

participate in a game if that player is still listed on another

      teams equipment list.

·        Advise your team of the new “Willful Misconduct

Suspension” clause in the bylaws.  Those suspensions are

for one year and include but are not limited to: second

ejections from games, threats, late hits, fighting and

      destroying property.

·        Advise your players that the officials will enforce the rules

as they pertain to the usage of foul language on the field as

      well as the sidelines.

·        Teams’ final roster must be posted on their web site by

      midnight June 15th.

The Commissioner has vowed to forfeit any games for violations of the by laws.
